Job Summary: A three-knife trimmer operator with experience on Zenith and Merit machines, responsible for cutting and trimming books, maintaining the machine, and coordinating production. Adherence to the production schedule and reduction of material waste **Grupo Espinosa is looking for your talent** Three-Knife Trimmer Operator. Knowledge of Zenith and Merit trimmers. **Responsibilities** ° Receive work orders and book samples to be cut at the start of each shift. ° Operate the machine safely and efficiently, following established operating procedures. ° Disassemble and reassemble blades and change rules; transport them to the sharpening area. ° Always maintain a set of sharp blades ready for immediate replacement to prevent production stoppages. ° Adjust settings of various sections of the three-knife trimmer (back gauge, stacker, counter, saw) as needed to meet production requirements. ° Unload packages from pallets and place them beside the loading stations (manually feed the three-knife trimmer, exclusively in Normbinder). ° Coordinate with the Covering Operator to ensure timely flow of books for cutting (trimming). ° Coordinate activities with the crew to complete assigned production tasks and ensure smooth workflow, meeting production and quality targets. ° Perform appropriate sampling to detect defects such as wrinkles, bubbles, or misalignment, ensuring final product quality. ° Complete the Production Report with production data (number of books, cycle times, machine downtime, and any relevant issues or incidents), to maintain accurate records and facilitate team performance tracking. ° Perform basic maintenance tasks on covering equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor adjustments, to ensure optimal operation and prevent failures. ° Carry out minor electrical or mechanical repairs on the machine, strictly adhering to all safety protocols. **Objectives** ° Achieve 100% adherence to the production schedule. ° Reduce material waste. ° Zero incidents resulting from unsafe work practices. **Education** Basic education **Experience** Minimum 1 year **Salary** $10,300 \+ Superior benefits \+ Overtime \+ Grocery vouchers Employment type: Indefinite-term position Salary: Starting from $13,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Free uniforms * Grocery vouchers Work location: On-site employment
