The SCF Analyst \- Fixed Assets, located at the Mission Hills plant reporting to the Plant Controller, is the primary finance business partner to support GSC in the Fixed Asset Management processes and Controls for Mission Hills and CP Mexico. Responsible for establishing procedures and controls aligned to our CFPs that ensure a reliable Fixed Asset Register, the proper accounting records and protection of the company’s assets **Reponsibilities** * Capitalization process: Participate in the CEB Evaluation with engineering, control of MWIP projects, follow up to status of the projects and ensure on time capitalization * Fixed Asset Inventory Coordination: Coordinate activities and meetings with the teams involved in the Fixed Asset Inventory and with the Suppliers * Coordination with CBS for all the activities related to Fixed Assets performed in the back office * Provide periodic updates to the Local Plant Management Team on financial impacts related to Fixed Asset management such as depreciation variances, impacts from new projects, and write offs. * Adherence to Global Policy \& Capitalization Policy * Idle assets: Coordinate proper identification of idle assets, evaluate alternatives, coordinate destruction processes. * Assist in the Validation of CEB savings and benefits. * Support to Internal and External Audit on Fixed Asset registers and statutory / fiscal requirements * Collaboratively work with Engineering and the Focus Factories in improvement of the processes related to Fixed Assets * Coordinate and develop budget and estimates for depreciation * Statutory reports Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Administration or Finance * 2\+ years of related experience in Supply Chain Finance or Accounting * Demonstrated experience in leading/managing projects * Fixed Asset management experience a plus * Intermediate English. * Relevant systems knowledge (MS Excel, Google Suite, and SAP) * Knowledge of US GAAP, SOX and Colgate Financial Policy * Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills **Our Commitment to Inclusion** Our journey begins with our people—developing strong talent with diverse backgrounds and perspectives to best serve our consumers around the world and fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels a true sense of belonging.
