**Job Objective**: Ensure product conformity by performing inspections, measurements, and leak tests, guaranteeing compliance with quality standards established by the customer, applicable regulations, and the organization’s internal procedures. Quality Inspector (Leak Testing) * Perform quality inspections on in-process and finished products according to drawings, specifications, and established criteria. * Conduct **leak tests** (pressure-based and other methods required depending on product type). * Ensure proper operation, calibration, and appropriate use of leak testing equipment. Quality Inspector (Liquid Paint) * Perform visual and dimensional inspections of parts before and after the epoxy liquid painting process. * Verify film thickness using dry-film thickness (DFT) gauges and other required measurement equipment. * Ensure compliance with critical process parameters: mixing, viscosity, ratios, curing times, and temperature. * Validate surface preparation (cleaning, blasting, degreasing, anchor profile, pre-treatment). * Detect paint defects: runs, bubbles, flaking, orange peel, poor adhesion, or contamination. * Perform and document adhesion, hardness, impact, and other physical quality tests as applicable. General Responsibilities for Both Roles. * Record, document, and report test results in designated forms, logs, and systems. * Identify deviations, failures, or nonconformities and promptly communicate them to production and quality supervisors. * Conduct preliminary root-cause analysis for recurring failures or detected patterns. * Ensure measurement and application equipment is calibrated and functioning properly. * Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures. * Participate in internal and external audits when required. * Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions. * Maintain order and cleanliness in the testing area, applying 5S principles.
