Management of workplace first-aid brigades and related training Objective Implement an Occupational Medical Service providing containment and follow-up care to ensure the well-being of our employees. Requirements * Degree and license as a General Physician. * Minimum 2 years’ experience in occupational health or general medical practice. * Proficiency in computer tools. * Knowledge of national health regulations and occupational health legislation. * Strong communication skills. * Experience receiving corporate and government audits. * Experience managing workplace first-aid brigades. Responsibilities * Daily first-contact medical care for general illnesses and medical emergencies within company facilities. * Medical treatment for general and occupational illnesses (including prescription issuance). * Guidance to employees on how to access services provided by their family medicine unit and/or specialized medical units. * Administration of occupational medical examinations for new hires and periodic check-ups; analysis of results and development of corresponding action plans. * Ensuring compliance with current corporate and national occupational health regulations. * Development and follow-up of the Annual Occupational Health Program, verifying implementation of actions and standardization of health and hygiene programs focused on preventing occupational and general illnesses. * Analysis and preparation of monthly and/or statistical reports (charts) regarding occupational health (consultations, medical leaves, examinations, accidents, etc.). * Development of action plans based on identified statistics or site-specific issues. * Participation in investigations into causes of injuries and/or illnesses occurring at the company, as well as handling and reporting safety incidents. * Preparation of medical reports, follow-up on incident cases, and provision of appropriate medical recommendations. * Support for first-aid brigade training and organization of medical emergency drills. * Implementation of health campaigns (e.g., vaccination and prevention of general diseases). * Management of the first-aid kit and emergency medical bag, ensuring they are properly stocked and ready for any emergency. Regular inspection and status reporting for on-site automated external defibrillators (AEDs). * Administration and inventory management of medications and medical supplies for the occupational health service. * Participation in local safety and health committees. * On-site ergonomic assessments and risk-related analyses. * Management of the site’s first-aid brigade—from internal training to coordination of external certification providers. * Delivery of employee training sessions and talks on disease prevention, ergonomics, health standards, applicable health regulations or legislation, etc. * During the COVID-19 pandemic, monitoring suspected or confirmed cases and advising on federal health authority procedures applicable to this public health emergency.
