




Position Summary: We are seeking a Hotel Receptionist to manage check-ins/outs, reservations, customer service, administrative tasks, and incident resolution with empathy and efficiency. Interdepartmental communication and access control. **Main Responsibilities and Functions:** * **Guest Registration (Check\-in/Check\-out):** Greet guests, verify identification documents, assign rooms, and process check\-outs ensuring accurate billing. * **Reservation Management:** Use hotel management software to make, modify, or cancel reservations and monitor room availability. * **Customer Service and Front Desk Operations:** Provide detailed information about hotel services (restaurants and group offerings) and offer local tourism recommendations. * **Administration and Cash Handling:** Process credit card or cash payments, issue invoices, and perform daily cash reconciliations. * **Incident Resolution:** Handle guest complaints, special requests, and issues promptly and empathetically. * **Interdepartmental Communication:** Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure timely room readiness and relay relevant information to management. **Requirements and Skills:** * **Languages:** English proficiency preferred. * **Competencies:** Excellent communication skills, friendliness, patience, organizational ability, and capacity to work under pressure. * **Technology:** Proficiency in computer tools and hotel software. * **Security and Control:** Safeguard room keys, monitor hotel access, and manage incoming telephone calls. * **Work Shifts:** * Standard shifts cover 8 hours, requiring flexibility for rotating morning and afternoon schedules.
