**Position:** Construction Materials Warehouse Clerk **Department:** Warehouse / Logistics / Operations / Inventory **Position Objective** · Ensure proper receipt, storage, control, safeguarding, and dispatch of construction materials, guaranteeing warehouse organization, supply availability, and compliance with safety and inventory control standards. **Functions and Responsibilities** · Receive and verify construction materials according to purchase orders and delivery notes. · Check quantities, specifications, and physical condition of materials. · Arrange and classify materials in the warehouse according to type and turnover rate. · Maintain up-to-date inventory control (receipts, issues, and stock levels). · Record warehouse movements on physical forms or digital systems. · Supply materials requested by construction sites or internal departments. · Prepare material issue vouchers and consumption reports. · Conduct periodic physical inventory counts. · Report shortages, losses, damages, or inventory discrepancies. · Maintain warehouse order, cleanliness, and signage. · Comply with safety and hygiene regulations (use of PPE). · Assist in loading and unloading of materials. · Safeguard tools and equipment under their responsibility. **Position Requirements** · Education: Completed high school. · Experience: Minimum 1 year as a warehouse clerk, preferably in construction or hardware retail. **Knowledge** · Construction materials. · Basic inventory control. · Use of warehouse documentation. · Skills · Organization and orderliness. · Attention to detail. · Teamwork. · Responsibility and integrity. · Physical capacity for handling loads. **Competencies:** · Control and follow-up. · Operational discipline.
