Under general direction, this position creates, develops and maintains customer relationships, manages chemical accounts for customers, resolves problems and schedules activities. It is responsible for supervising the daily operations necessary to maintain customer accounts and for acquiring new business opportunities with new customers. Must demonstrate the ability to stabilize business on large and strategic accounts. Manages large and complex accounts with revenues exceeding $5 million. Directly supervises staff to maintain accounts. Supervisory responsibilities include: interviewing/selecting employees, providing performance feedback through periodic reviews, directing/monitoring their work, taking corrective actions, and ensuring proper compliance with company policies and procedures. Acts as a mentor and actively trains developing service technicians to establish a career path toward their next roles. Identifies organic growth opportunities with existing customers and new opportunities with new customers. Must possess knowledge of Multi-Chem product lines and their applications, and the ability to test, select and recommend products following established work methods. Provides technical support and escalates complaints as necessary. May be required to act as an expert at the worksite, where they will supervise sample collection and analyze associated data as needed. This position will delegate tasks such as selection and testing of chemical product lines and compilation/analysis of report data to service technicians when appropriate. Provides strong technical advice and recommendations to support customer operational requirements. Knowledge of chemical pump design and specifications. Creates, develops and maintains customized chemical programs and optimizes them as opportunities arise. Proficient in Microsoft product platforms. Prepares and delivers clear, concise and routine reports both internally to management and externally to customers. Produces and presents technical presentations. Uses software to maintain customer financial and technical portfolios. Performs system analysis. Interprets data and develops recommendations to ensure operations perform optimally. Demonstrates strong leadership by training and coaching others, and by leading portions of district meetings. Requirements:* Requires completion of a degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Petroleum Chemistry or related field. * Minimum of 8 years of experience in chemical products business for production, including experience in the oil and gas industry. * Experience in Production Chemistry, Chemical Treatments in different regions of Pemex. * Experience in Sales and Marketing of Chemical Products in the Oil and Gas sector. * Preferred experience in chemicals for refineries. * Advanced level of English. * Availability to travel. **Halliburton is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
