We are seeking an Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Technician, Engineer, or Bachelor’s degree holder to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) policies. Your primary role will be to advise on and develop measures to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment. Monitoring to identify unsafe conditions and acts is critical. The ideal candidate is a dedicated individual who strictly adheres to health and safety regulations. You will focus on preventive measures, requiring attentiveness and proactivity. Attention to detail is essential—especially in emergency situations. Your objective is to establish a workplace compliant with legal safety standards and fostering a culture that prioritizes health and safety. Roles and Responsibilities * Support the development of OHS policies and programs * Deliver training on various safety-related topics * Conduct risk assessments for high-risk tasks, as applicable, and implement preventive measures * Maintain worker documentation to ensure proper access to client sites, projects, or facilities * Manage the issuance of work permits * Initiate and organize occupational health and safety training for new hires, as well as for each project or site—including contractors and temporary workers * Inspect facilities, equipment, machinery, personal protective equipment (PPE), and personnel work practices to identify unsafe acts and conditions * Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste handling * Halt any unsafe act or process deemed dangerous or unhealthy, and determine how associated risks will be eliminated * Record and investigate incidents to determine root causes and manage workers’ compensation claims Requirements * OHS Technician certification, Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), or related field * Willingness to travel within and outside Mexico * Minimum 1–2 years of verifiable experience as an OHS Technician, Engineer/Bachelor in OSH, Safety Officer, or related role * Experience verifying personal protective equipment (PPE), equipment, and machinery * Ability to develop, disseminate, and implement safety policies, manuals, procedures, and safety talks * Excellent organizational skills * Diligence and attention to detail * Strong communication skills, with ability to present and explain health and safety topics * Candidates holding current DC-3 certifications related to health and safety will be preferred We Offer * Monthly gross salary, based on experience: $15,000–$18,000 MXN, with salary adjustment effective from the fourth month * Working hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM * Option for permanent employment contract * Major medical expense insurance starting from the sixth month * Company-provided mobile phone * Complimentary uniforms Job Type: Full-time Salary: $15,000.00–$18,000.00 MXN per month Benefits: * Option for permanent employment contract * Major medical expense insurance * Company-provided mobile phone * Complimentary uniforms Experience: * Occupational Health and Safety: 1 year (Preferred) Willingness to travel: * 75% (Required) Work Location: On-site
