





**JOIN RESTAURANTE CASA TAXCO — WE ARE HIRING A LINE SUPERVISOR FOR THE KITCHEN!** LOCATION: DOWNTOWN CUERNAVACA. **Requirements:** Minimum 1–2 consecutive years of recent, verifiable experience. Education: Technical degree in Gastronomy or Food & Beverage, or related field; completed high school. * Inventory control * Management and control of resources and supplies * Proficiency in Mexican cuisine * Handling and control of food items * Food storage and perishable goods management * Waste control and reduction * **Supervise and actively participate in line food preparation:** Ensuring dishes are prepared to perfection—meeting specified cooking times, flavor profiles, presentation standards, visual appeal, and quality as defined by internal procedures. * **Maintain dish quality and consistency:** Enforce recipes and preparation procedures to ensure every dish is uniformly prepared according to restaurant standards. * **Oversee, manage, and train the line cooking team:** Maintain operational control over the line, lead, motivate, and train staff under supervision, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to perform tasks efficiently and safely. * **Organize and supervise the line station:** Ensure the work area is clean, well-organized, and properly equipped, with fresh ingredients readily available. Daily supervision must confirm that **MISE EN PLACE** has been correctly prepared. * **Monitor inventory and place orders:** Track stock levels of line-used products and place timely, accurate orders (Note: In the chef’s absence, the Line Supervisor assumes full responsibility for the entire kitchen). At the end of each shift, verify that the meat inventory has been accurately recorded. * **Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations:** Guarantee all processes follow sanitary regulations to prevent cross-contamination of food. * **Optimize cooking times and workflow:** Continuously seek ways to improve line efficiency in dish preparation to ensure fast, timely service. * **Collaborate with other kitchen staff:** Work closely with the chef and fellow cooks to ensure proper dish synchronization and customer satisfaction.
