*This vacancy comes from the Talenteca.com job board* ### **Vacancy for the company ASOSA in Colonia Isidro Favela \- Tlalpan, Mexico City** PURCHASING AND FOREIGN TRADE MANAGER Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Business, International Relations, Administration or related field. **Experience: 3 to 5 years in medical device imports or regulated industry (hospital, pharmaceutical, laboratory).** **Foreign trade experience: 5 years** **Knowledge: Customs broker management, National and International regulations, Customs, International Logistics, COFEPRIS permits, Tariff fractions, Imports and Exports, NOM\-241, ERP SAP system handling, Operational reporting.** **Language: Advanced English.** Main responsibilities: Control international handling costs and verify tariff quotas, calculating applicable expenses, taxes and contributions according to current tax regulations and internal policies. Maintain records and control of expense accounts issued by the customs agent. Coordinate and follow up with customs agencies for cargo release, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and timely clearance. Verify correct tariff classification of goods for import and export, reviewing invoices, tax calculations, tariffs and customs agent fees. Coordinate with destination stations or points for proper receipt, documentation and release of goods for export. Supervise the compilation and safekeeping of physical and digital files containing supporting documentation for the company's import and export operations. Coordinate delivery and receipt of goods from customs to final destination, and from origin to customs, ensuring proper flow. Ensure on-time delivery of goods according to internal requirements and commitments with suppliers. Manage and provide the customs agent with necessary information and documentation, such as sanitary registrations, import permits or other regulatory requirements, to ensure cargo release. Monitor goods in transit, from origin departure, arrival at customs, and final arrival at warehouses, identifying progress and triggering logistical processes such as transportation and pickup, ensuring timely scheduling of transport and collection. Follow up on shipments arriving soon at company warehouses, providing timely and detailed information to warehouse managers for proper receipt and validation. Receive and validate goods delivered by the customs agent at various company warehouses, comparing against invoice and original purchase order PS/OC, ensuring receipt in correct order, quantity and condition.
