Strong focus on customer service and regulatory compliance POSITION: **PHARMACY MANAGER** **Position Objective:** The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for overseeing the pharmacy’s overall operations, ensuring excellence in customer service, managing inventory, coordinating staff, and guaranteeing compliance with current health and legal regulations in Mexico City. **Requirements:** o **Education: High School Diploma** o **Experience:** Minimum 5 years in pharmacies, preferably in supervisory or coordination roles. o Basic knowledge of pharmacology, medication dispensing, and Mexican health legislation (COFEPRIS). o Experience in inventory management, medication control, and direct customer/patient interaction**.** **Key Responsibilities:** * **Customer Service:** Provide personalized customer service, address medication-related inquiries, and offer guidance on proper usage. * **Cash Handling and Reporting:** Perform daily cash reconciliation, track income and expenses, generate daily sales reports, and ensure accurate product invoicing. o **Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system**, conduct cash audits, close shifts, make deposits, and use banking terminals. * **Quality Control:** Ensure medications are stored and handled in accordance with health and safety regulations. * **Regulatory Compliance:** Guarantee pharmacy compliance with legal and health regulations, as well as COFEPRIS requirements. * **Leadership and Supervision:** Coordinate and supervise pharmacy staff to ensure excellent customer service and an organized, efficient work environment. * **Inventory Management:** Monitor stock levels of medications and health products, place replenishment orders, and coordinate goods receipt. o **Request and verify supplier orders**, ensuring adherence to quality standards. o **Manage staff schedules and rotations** to ensure optimal coverage. * **Store Maintenance:** Maintain a clean and organized store space, ensuring all products are correctly labeled and stored. **Technical Skills:** o Proficiency in pharmacy software. o Knowledge of controlled substance regulations. **Interpersonal Skills:** o Leadership ability and teamwork orientation. o Effective communication with customers and staff. o Proactive, responsible attitude with strong customer-service orientation. o Empathy and problem-solving skills**.** o Ability to work under pressure **Schedule:** Availability to rotate shifts. 1st shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM 2nd shift: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM Monday through Sunday, with rotating days off.
