**Safety and Hygiene Manager** We are a leading company in the manufacturing of metal furniture with over 20 years of experience in the market, seeking a professional with experience in industrial safety and hygiene to lead risk prevention strategies and regulatory compliance at our plant. **Responsibilities** · Design and implement safety and hygiene programs in accordance with current regulations (NOMs, STPS). · Ensure compliance with requirements from STPS, Civil Protection, and PROFEPA. · Supervise internal inspections and external audits related to safety and hygiene, civil protection, and PROFEPA. · Coordinate training for operational and administrative staff on occupational safety, hygiene, and health. · Conduct investigations into workplace incidents and accidents, and develop strategies to reduce accident rates and occupational risks. · Guarantee and supervise the control and handling of hazardous waste in compliance with environmental regulations. · Monitor the safety conditions of machinery, facilities, processes, material storage, and all applicable STPS regulations. · Knowledge and management of hazardous waste and chemicals. · Manage documentation and required studies in accordance with current regulations. · Knowledge and preparation of Civil Protection requirements. · Coordinate emergency brigades, drills, and emergency plans. · Report and track area indicators. **Requirements** · Bachelor's degree or Engineering in Industrial Safety and Hygiene or related field. · 5 years of experience in manufacturing companies. · Knowledge of STPS, PROFEPA, and environmental regulations. · Familiarity with Civil Protection requirements. · Experience implementing safety and hygiene procedures, regulations, and policies. \* DC5 certification preferred **Competencies** · Focus on company safety and hygiene · Effective communication · Teamwork · Analytical thinking · Persuasion skills · Strong supervisory follow-up Job type: Full-time Salary: $10,046\.51 \- $18,000\.00 per month Work location: On-site
