With operations in more than 40 countries, our employees and cast members work together to create entertainment experiences that are both universally and locally cherished. **How will you contribute to our magical experience?** The switcher operator is the technical and artistic lead responsible for selecting and switching in real time among multiple video sources (cameras, graphics, videos) during live or recorded productions. **The Switcher Operator, Production ESPN will be responsible for:** * Switching between cameras, video servers, inserting titles, logos and graphic elements (supers), and executing transitions (cuts, dissolves, wipes) at the precise moments indicated by production. * Programming and operating Kayenne/Karrera/Sony switchers, timelines, macros, effects, boxes, keys, inputs and outputs to generate dual path (signal with dual distribution for USA/ARG). * Continuously monitoring video sources and all technical aspects—including audio, lighting, framing, and equipment—in coordination with the technical staff in the PCR and studio before and during the program to ensure quality, as well as collaborating effectively to execute the program properly. * Working closely with the director to follow the show rundown. In cases of special events (soccer, tennis, NFL, etc.), performing directing duties alongside switching. * Routing video signals to studios via the Sirius 850\ router. **What we need from you to be part of this story:** * Minimum 2 years of experience as a switcher in broadcast environments. * Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Audiovisual Production, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field. * Relevant experience with video mixers in live/recorded programs and remote events. * Ability to work collaboratively, make quick decisions, and devise creative solutions. * Ability to quickly and efficiently identify and correct errors. * Willingness to work in dynamic, high-pressure environments. * Intermediate English proficiency (not mandatory). **Additional Information:** At Disney, we believe it takes great people to create memorable experiences, products and services our consumers know and love.
