




Electromechanical Maintenance Technician REQUIRED COMPETENCIES: * • Industrial electrical installations * • Cutting and welding * • Industrial mechanics * • Pneumatic and hydraulic systems installation * • Electrical motor control EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE: * • Technical degree in Electromechanics, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering; or completed high school education * • Minimum 5 years of experience * • Basic knowledge of electronics * • Basic PLC knowledge * • Knowledge of industrial refrigeration * • Ability to read and interpret electrical, control, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams and blueprints OBJECTIVE: To improve the efficiency, quality, operation, and appearance of machinery and building facilities through maintenance programs, thereby preventing production stoppages and ensuring orderly work practices, personal safety, and product safety. Responsibilities: • Implements operational policies established by the organization. • Implements guidelines of the Integrated Management System. • Implements guidelines of the Food Safety Management System. • Knows and applies the company’s Quality Policy. • Complies with Good Manufacturing Practices. • Knows and applies the company’s mission, vision, and values. • Performs assigned tasks in the weekly preventive maintenance program. • Reviews and executes assigned work orders (corrective, improvement, special work, TPM). • Requests materials and spare parts. • Completes departmental reports. • Maintains machinery in good working condition. • Verifies proper operation of machinery. • Participates, if requested, in other general safety activities. • Maintains effective communication with colleagues. • Keeps work area and tools clean and organized. • Performs any other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor (including administrative or operational duties). • Reports pending and completed tasks to the immediate supervisor. • Reports any irregularities to the direct supervisor. Responsibilities: • Ensures equipment and facilities under his/her responsibility are maintained in optimal condition. • Ensures compliance with maintenance programs. • Executes assigned work orders. • Maintains contact with equipment suppliers for feedback on complex repairs. • Reports any equipment damage—even if not under his/her direct responsibility. • Wears uniform properly. • Uses appropriate personal protective equipment at all required times. • Uses tools with their designated safety protections.
