Supervision of machinery, personnel, and inputs to ensure ranch efficiency. ***RANCH MANAGER*** **JOB DESCRIPTION:** * Agricultural Engineer. * 3 years of experience in agricultural production and work team management. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Coordinate the work schedule for planting, transplanting, irrigation, fumigation, and harvesting. * Determine required inputs, equipment, and resources for production in coordination with the zone coordinator and/or production manager. * Request field tools, equipment, or inputs. * Coordinate onboarding of newly hired personnel. * Provide instructions for assigned tasks and train staff on new working methods. * Coordinate land preparation for the planting or transplanting schedule. * Coordinate with the irrigation supervisor regarding well operations, drip irrigation, and related maintenance. * Coordinate with the crew leader on personnel organization, selecting the appropriate crew according to the activity to be performed. * Coordinate field pesticide application with the plant health technician. * Monitor the production process from planting to harvest. * Coordinate transportation of harvested products. * Request and supervise use of appropriate machinery and tools for assigned tasks. * Supervise proper operation of machinery and tools used in field operations. * Request equipment repairs from the Machinery Center. * Review and authorize machinery usage, verifying that daily tractor inspections by the tractor operator are completed and that information is submitted correctly and on time. * Request harvesting equipment supplies (raincoats, knives, waterproof gear) and deliver them to crew leaders. * Supervise timely and accurate reporting of agricultural input applications. * Supervise correct usage of inputs, equipment, and tools by assigned personnel. * Notify the transportation and logistics coordinator upon vehicle arrival at the start of its route and report departure time or any changes during the work shift. **REQUIREMENTS:** * 3 years of experience * Age: between 28 and 45 years * Driver's license: **A** Employment type: Full-time Salary: $12,000.00 - $20,000.00 per month Work location: On-site employment
