




**Underground Mine Planning Manager** **Position Objective:** Plan, coordinate, and control short-, medium-, and long-term mining planning activities at an underground mine, ensuring optimal resource utilization, achievement of production, cost, safety, and applicable regulatory targets aligned with the mining unit’s business plan. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop and update mining plans (short-, medium-, and long-term), considering reserves, mining sequences, grades, dilution, recovery, and operational capacity. * Prepare operating and capital budgets (OPEX and CAPEX) related to mining planning. * Integrate geological, geotechnical, topographic, and operational data to support decision-making. * Monitor production plan adherence and analyze variances (tonnage, grade, costs). * Propose technical and operational adjustments to improve productivity, safety, and profitability. * Incorporate construction and infrastructure maintenance projects into long-term mine planning. * Prepare technical and executive reports for senior management. * Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and mining concession regulations. * Supervise and develop the planning team, fostering technical competencies and collaboration. **Academic Qualifications:** * Mining Engineering, Geology **Experience:** * Minimum 3 years as a Manager in underground mining. * At least 5 years in planning. **Technical Knowledge:** * Underground mining planning (short-, mid- and long-term). * Reserve and resource evaluation. * Underground mining methods. * Cost and budget control. * Mining and safety regulations (STPS). * Specialized software (AutoCAD, MineSight, Vulcan). **Skills:** * Technical leadership. * Analytical and strategic thinking. * Data-driven decision-making. * Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams. * Project management. * Results orientation and continuous improvement. **Benefits:** Competitive salary.
