




**Job Summary** The Accounting Department Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the accounting team, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial records and reports. Responsibilities include managing financial processes (e.g., accounts payable/receivable, general ledger activities, payroll, and financial reporting), coordinating team activities, and ensuring strict compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. **Key Responsibilities** * Supervise and provide guidance to the accounting staff, delegate tasks, and monitor performance to ensure productivity and deadline compliance * Develop and implement training plans, conduct performance evaluations, and provide mentorship to support team growth and development. * Oversee daily accounting functions, including general ledger reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax filings to ensure accuracy and compliance. * Review and approve journal entries, invoices, and expense reports to ensure compliance with company policies and financial standards. * Ensure timely closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial periods while preparing accurate financial reports for stakeholders. * Act as a key liaison between the accounting team and other departments to support financial planning and strategy. * Ensure deadlines for paying suppliers, tax filings, and reporting are met in accordance with company and regulatory policies. * Ensure zero discrepancies in financial audits by providing accurate and timely information to auditors. * Timely and efficient communication with other departments to facilitate financial decision\-making. **Requirements** * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * **English proficiency required at advanced level, written and spoken (this requirement is a MUST)** * Experience with accounting software such as SAP, Contpaq, and financial reporting tools. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools. * 3–6 years of professional accounting experience with at least **1–3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.** * Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
