Read the job description below and apply now. **What Are We Looking For?** * Preferably holds a degree in Gastronomy (Bachelor’s), Culinary Arts (Associate Degree or Vocational High School) * Minimum 5 years of experience working in the hot section of the kitchen department * Knowledgeable and attentive to hygiene standards * Proficient in food safety practices and their implementation * Open to innovation and development * Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality boutique products within high-volume, fast-paced operations **What Will You Work On?** * Ensure all food products comply consistently with recipes. * Closely supervise mise en place requirements for the respective section. * Maintain adequate levels of mise en place to guarantee uninterrupted food flow during service periods, while controlling quality, consistency, appearance, and taste. * Supervise daily tasks assigned to staff and ensure adherence to established guidelines; take necessary corrective actions. * Work continuous or split shifts, as required by business needs. * Verify incoming goods against the corresponding purchase order and quality specifications, then transfer them to the appropriate kitchen section—ensuring waste is minimized. * Conduct daily checks to ensure storage areas are maintained at a high standard of hygiene. * Supervise proper handling of raw ingredients, ensuring quantities prepared align with recipes. * Oversee and prepare daily mise en place, ensuring the section is fully ready for service. * Ensure the kitchen and food preparation areas are completely cleaned when unattended. * Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene, punctuality, and professional appearance, adhering to company policies and uniform requirements. * Guarantee smooth kitchen operations through proper equipment handling, compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, and effective communication with team members and supervisors. * Foster positive interdepartmental working relationships and attend all necessary meetings to stay current with company standards and procedures.
