Close communication with the client **González Chevez y Compañía is seeking a Government Auditor in Colonia Del Valle – Benito Juárez, Mexico City** ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ **An accounting firm with over 20 years of experience is seeking:** **Government Auditor** **What would be your purpose in this role?** Coordinate the execution of assigned tasks, aiming to analyze or prepare the reports to be delivered for the assigned service—reports previously committed to and agreed upon in work proposals—with the objective of providing the client with high-quality information and conclusions aligned with the assigned project. **What responsibilities would you hold?** * Prepare and monitor the work plan, informed by the overall audit strategy. * Prepare compliance tests, substantive tests, tax analyses, and conclusions. * Maintain close communication with the client and/or the client’s staff. * Draft letters of outstanding items, letters of observations, preliminary and final reports, financial opinions, as well as reports on assigned engagements. **What qualifications are required?** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (candidate or graduate). * Two years of auditing experience (public sector preferred). **We offer:** * Base salary of $13,700 to $16,700 gross * Statutory benefits * Career development plan * Job stability * Hybrid work arrangement **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Work location: Benito Juárez Borough, Av.
