We are seeking a Logistics and International Trade Executive. Job Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Logistics, International Business, or Industrial Engineering. Experience: * Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles related to international logistics and foreign trade. * Proven experience in imports from Asia and multimodal transportation (maritime, land, and air). * Knowledge of Amazon’s logistics operations, including compliance requirements and standards. Technical Skills: * Advanced proficiency in ERP systems related to logistics and foreign trade (SAP, Oracle, etc.). * Knowledge of Mexican customs regulations and international treaties (NAFTA/USMCA, etc.). * Advanced English proficiency (essential for communication with international suppliers). * Proficiency in logistics tracking and traceability tools (Track & Trace). **ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Maritime Logistics from China: * Coordinate maritime imports from China, ensuring adherence to timelines and costs. * Negotiate rates and terms with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and cargo agents. * Supervise required import documentation (Bill of Lading, packing list, invoice, certificates of origin, etc.). * Cargo Insurance: * Contract and manage international and domestic cargo insurance. * Supervise claims for damages or losses, ensuring recovery of values. * Domestic Land Logistics: * Plan and coordinate land transportation from ports and warehouses to Strategic Customs Facilities (RFE) or company-owned warehouses. * Monitor transit times, routes, and cost optimization. * Transportation from RFE or Company-Owned Warehouses to End Customer: * Manage movement of goods from Strategic Customs Facilities (RFE), company-owned or third-party warehouses to the end customer. * Ensure compliance with applicable customs and tax regulations in the operation. * Amazon Logistics: * Manage shipment of goods to Amazon distribution centers. * Ensure compliance with Amazon’s specific logistics regulations and standards. * Monitor inventory levels and replenishments, guaranteeing supply chain optimization. * Supplier and Carrier Management: * Evaluate, negotiate, and coordinate with maritime and land transportation providers and customs service providers. * Monitor performance and adherence to logistics KPIs. * Supervise and audit that monthly costs align with reality, based on supplier evidence. * Process Optimization: * Analyze logistics costs and timelines to propose improvements and efficiencies. * Implement technology and tools for shipment tracking and traceability. * Prepare key logistics information for management decision-making.
