




Job Summary: Responsible for end-to-end import management—from purchase order placement to warehouse receipt—including logistics provider sourcing and customs follow-up. Key Highlights: 1. Professional development in a role requiring organization and problem-solving. **SCHEDULE**: Monday to Friday, 8:00–18:00 hrs; Saturdays, 8:00–12:00 hrs **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Place international purchase orders and track shipments until warehouse receipt. * Source new logistics providers (shipping lines and freight forwarders); compare rates. * Supervise physical inventory counts upon product arrival. * Monitor shipment transit; coordinate with shipping lines / carriers and customs brokers. * Report defective products to suppliers. * Prepare customs letters. * Perform administrative tasks. **REQUIREMENTS** * Bachelor’s degree in International Trade or International Business (degree preferred). * English proficiency: 80% written; ability to communicate effectively via phone or Zoom is mandatory. * Minimum 2 years of verifiable, hands-on experience managing imports—preferably food-related—and handling both maritime and land-based customs procedures. * Knowledge of NOM-051 (preferred). * Familiarity with customs terminology and application: Incoterms, import clearance, IGI, TIGIE consultation, and tariff classification analysis. * Review of customs entry documents and calculation of duties/taxes. * Review of expense accounts. * Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills. * SAP Business One knowledge preferred (candidates meeting this requirement receive priority). **SKILLS** * Strong organizational and planning abilities. * Rigorous follow-up and control. * Numerical aptitude. * Problem-solving ability.
