Support functions in documentation integration and control **Head Hunter is looking for a FOREIGN TRADE ASSISTANT in Iztapalapa, Mexico City** ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business, Administration, or International Relations. 6 months of experience as a Foreign Trade Assistant. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: 1\.\-General flow of customs procedures 2\.\-Basic import and export documentation 3\.\-Basic concepts of tariff classification 4\.\-Basic regulations governing foreign trade 5\.\-Basic handling of customs documentation 6\.\-Operational tracking of shipments 7\.\-Operational communication with freight forwarders and customs agents MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for supporting the integration, review, and control of import and export documentation; performing operational tracking of shipments and customs clearance status with customs agents, carriers, and suppliers; entering and updating operational information in internal systems and databases; creating purchase requisitions for supplier payment purchase orders. Support in the basic review of customs declarations and commercial documents to validate general data under supervision.
