We are seeking a skilled and detail\-oriented **Cable \& Harness Inspector** to join our team in Mexico. This is a flexible schedule of **4–5 days per week on an as\-needed basis.** The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in cable and harness inspection, excellent attention to detail, and a dedication to delivering high\-quality work. If you're looking for a flexible opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic and collaborative environment, we encourage you to apply. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Ensure products meet quality and specification standards * Verify safety wire orientation, correct turns, and pigtails as per specifications * Confirm shipping documentation is legible and accurate (part number, serial number, etc.) * Check documentation packages to industry standards and classify defects * Interpret manufacturing drawings and identifying non\-conformances * Periodically verify accuracy and ensure productivity to meet production schedules * Maintain equipment and keep the work area organized ### **Required Qualifications** * Knowledge of cable and harness assembly methods * Familiar with IPC\-A\-620 standards * Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cable and Harness Inspector/Assembler in electronic manufacturing or related fields * Ability to read schematics, assembly drawings, and identify wiring components * Proficient in documenting Certificates of Conformance (COC) * Strong organizational, communication, and software adaptation skills * Proven ability to de\-escalate workplace conflicts effectively ### **Preferred Qualifications** * Certified or previously certified in IPC\-A\-620 * Diploma or GED from an accredited high school or technical school; college degree in engineering * Knowledge of electronic contract manufacturing and LEAN manufacturing * Preferred: 5 years of experience, with 2 years as a Cable and Harness Inspector Mileage reimbursement at the US gov't rate ($0\.72 per mile driven).
