**IMPORTANT AMERICAN SUPERMARKET CHAIN** SEEKING **Opening Coordinator** **Education** Bachelor’s degree or Engineering degree in Systems, Information Technologies, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field. **Position Objective** Coordinate and ensure the proper execution of the store opening plan regarding IT infrastructure and applications, managing activities, dependencies, vendors, and internal resources, in order to guarantee the technological readiness of stores by the business-established opening dates. Functions and Responsibilities IT Opening Plan Management Manage the master IT store opening plan, based on the previously defined activity and dependency template. Update and validate plan dates for each new opening, aligned with the business calendar. Ensure proper alignment of IT infrastructure and application activities with involved business areas. Monitor plan progress, identifying risks, deviations, and critical dependencies. Manage and document exceptions, proposing plan adjustments when necessary. Vendor and Resource Coordination Coordinate and lead on-site technical visits with technology service providers. Define, jointly with vendors, the strategy, sequence, and timelines for executing assigned activities. Coordinate and supervise activities performed by technology vendors and internal field support staff. Ensure compliance with defined scopes, timelines, quality, and IT standards. IT Infrastructure and Applications Define and validate installation points for the technological infrastructure required for store operations (networking, cabling, power, equipment, etc.). Supervise the installation, configuration, and commissioning of IT infrastructure. Coordinate the implementation and validation of technological applications required for business operations. Ensure that equipment and applications are fully operational prior to the opening date. Monitoring, Control, and Reporting Provide comprehensive monitoring of the IT opening plan progress. Prepare and present status reports to IT and business areas. Validate successful closure of opening activities.
