




Position Summary: Traffic ITS Technician responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of ITS systems on highways, ensuring their proper operation. Key Responsibilities: 1. Support for monitoring systems integration Position: Traffic ITS Technician Department: Infrastructure / Intelligent Transportation Systems Location: Field – Highway projects Reports to: Site Resident / ITS Supervisor Position Objective Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of ITS systems on highways, including video surveillance cameras, traffic sensors, variable message signs, electronic signage, and communication equipment, ensuring their proper operation. Requirements Education: Technical or Engineering degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Mechatronics, or related field. Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in electrical systems, telecommunications, or ITS installation. Experience installing cameras, structured cabling, or electronic equipment in field environments. Knowledge: Installation of CCTV cameras and video surveillance systems. Electrical and data cabling (UTP, optical fiber preferred). Installation of electronic signage panels or information displays. Use of electrical and measurement tools. Basic interpretation of electrical drawings or diagrams. Responsibilities Install traffic cameras and video surveillance systems on highways. Install variable message signs (VMS) and electronic signage. Perform electrical and communication cabling. Configure and test ITS equipment to ensure proper operation. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment. Support integration of traffic monitoring systems. Report progress and failures to supervisor or site resident.
