Comercializadora Gardom is seeking an Inventory Assistant to ensure the accuracy of physical inventory versus system records through daily cyclic counts, discrepancy identification, and support in warehouse control and organization. This position is critical to maintaining reliable inventory, preventing stockouts/overstocks, and improving overall warehouse operations. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Conduct daily cyclic counts by location and part number. * Capture and record count results (physical vs. system). * Identify and report discrepancies: shortages, overages, data entry errors. * Investigate causes of discrepancies (unrecorded movements, incorrect locations, mixed merchandise). * Support proper location, organization, labeling, and control of merchandise. * Identify products without barcodes, not yet entered into the system, or with incorrect descriptions. * Maintain count reports and weekly progress updates. * Support scheduled full-cycle inventories. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Preferred experience in inventory, warehouse, counting, or internal audit. * Minimum education: High school diploma / preparatory school. * Honest, organized, responsible, and proactive individual (quick learner). * Detail-oriented and precise. * Ability to perform moderate physical work in a warehouse environment. * Basic computer skills (basic Excel required). * Knowledge and experience with inventory tools. **COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS** * Organization and discipline. * High attention to detail. * Process- and rule-oriented work. * Clear communication to report discrepancies and findings.
