Proficient in accounting software (CONTPAQi). **Job Description** The Accounting Assistant is responsible for supporting the company’s accounting management, ensuring accurate recording of transactions, preparation of reports, and compliance with tax and accounting obligations. **Functions and Responsibilities** * Record and classify accounting entries in the relevant systems. * Assist in the preparation of financial statements and accounting reports. * Reconcile bank accounts and review financial transactions. * Support the preparation and filing of provisional tax returns. * Maintain up-to-date physical and digital accounting records. **Requirements** * Technical degree or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Administration, or related field. * Minimum 1–2 years of experience in accounting departments handling individuals and legal entities (preferred). * Knowledge of general accounting, bank reconciliations, financial transactions, invoicing, tax filings, and chart of accounts. * Proficient in accounting software (CONTPAQi). * Advanced Excel and other Microsoft Office tools. * Familiarity with tax regulations (Income Tax, VAT, DIOT, etc.). **Skills and Competencies** * Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling. * Responsibility and confidentiality in information management. * Teamwork ability and effective communication.
