**PROJECT ENGINEERING SPECIALIST** **JOB PROFILE:** * Industrial Chemical Engineer, Environmental Engineer or related field; desirable experience in the construction industry designing water treatment plants. * Master's degree in water sciences, environmental, engineering or related field is desirable. * Skills to lead work teams and collaborate effectively. * Conversational and technical English desirable. * U.S. travel visa desirable. **KNOWLEDGE IN:** * Design of wastewater treatment plants. * Knowledge of basic and detailed engineering of a project. * Knowledge of pumping systems (pump station). * Knowledge of tools and methodologies to manage projects effectively, optimizing resources and time. * PFD. Process Flow Diagram. * P\&ID. Piping and Instrumentation Diagram. * BME spreadsheet (Material and Energy Balance). **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Plan, direct, coordinate, control, and improve engineering processes. * Manage budget for new projects. * Identify needs for tools, equipment, and machinery according to daily requirements. * Verify and review quotations related to purchasing additional equipment, tool modifications, and necessary support services (training, consulting, and technical development). * Release the process to the production area. * Project costing. * Create required documentation. * Technical risk management.
