**Civil Design Engineer** **Position:** Civil Engineer – Design Department **Availability:** Immediate **Location:** Mexico City **Position Objective** Develop and review civil designs for infrastructure and industrial projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, technical accuracy, and timely delivery of engineering deliverables using specialized software. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop civil designs for infrastructure, buildings, foundations, hydraulic works, or structures according to project requirements. * Perform structural calculations, load analysis, modeling, and element sizing. * Prepare drawings, calculation reports, technical specifications, and engineering reports. * Use specialized software for structural and civil modeling, analysis, and design. * Review and validate documentation produced by internal teams or external contractors. * Coordinate with disciplines such as architecture, mechanical, electrical, piping, and construction supervision to ensure design integration. * Provide technical support during construction execution when required. * Comply with applicable national and international civil design standards and regulations. * Participate in technical meetings and support resolution of engineering issues. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. * Experience in civil, structural, or hydraulic design (preferably in industrial or infrastructure projects). * Advanced knowledge of calculation report preparation and design criteria. * Proficiency in software such as: **AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SAP2000, STAAD, ETABS, Robot, Revit, or similar**. * Ability to interpret drawings, standards, and technical specifications. * Immediate availability to join the project. * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. * Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team. **Desired Competencies** * Organization and attention to detail. * Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. * Adaptability to changing project priorities and conditions. * Responsibility and commitment to design quality.
