Video Editor \- Social Media Round Branding Inc. We are looking for a talented, skilled, and creative video editor to join our creative content team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating engaging, high-quality video content for social media platforms. As a social media video editor, you will be responsible for editing both long-form and short-form content for social media channels, including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and more. You will collaborate closely with our social media team to ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and resonates with our target audience. You will also be responsible for creating compelling thumbnails (where applicable) that effectively communicate the content of the videos you edit. The ideal candidate for this role is a passionate yet organized individual with initiative and strong problem-solving skills who can thrive under pressure in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities: * Edit and produce engaging, high-quality video content for social media platforms, including trimming, cutting, and organizing footage; adding transitions, music, sound effects, and visual effects; color correction and grading; and adding text overlays and subtitles. * Edit both long-form and short-form videos, ensuring all content is optimized for each social media platform. * Create attractive and visually striking thumbnails for each video that effectively communicate its content and encourage viewers to click. * Collaborate with the social media team to develop compelling and creative concepts for video content. * Work closely with the content team to understand brand guidelines and ensure all content meets brand standards. * Use applications, artificial intelligence, and creative video editing techniques to produce exceptional video content within tight, fast-paced deadlines. * Manage multiple video projects simultaneously from start to finish, ensuring all projects are delivered on time. * Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in social media video editing and thumbnail creation, and provide recommendations on new and innovative ways to engage our audience. Requirements: * Demonstrated interest in video editing, digital content, and branding, with genuine enthusiasm for learning and growing professionally within a marketing and branding agency. * Basic or intermediate proficiency in video editing software such as Premiere Pro and CapCut. * Understanding of video production and post-production workflows, including editing, basic color correction, audio handling, and application of simple graphics or effects. * Basic knowledge of thumbnail and graphic design for video using tools like Figma or Photoshop. * Strong visual and narrative judgment regarding rhythm, composition, and message clarity. * Ability to work in a dynamic environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet established deadlines. * Ability to receive feedback, follow brand guidelines, and adapt editing style to different clients. * Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices for optimizing video content per format and channel. * Interest or experience in animation, motion graphics, or 3D modeling is a plus but not required. Essential Requirements: * Intermediate English. * Experience working remotely. * Residency in Mérida (preferred).
