**Position Description** We are seeking an **Editor of Photography Books** with strong artistic sensitivity, visual judgment, and technical skills to join our team and contribute to the creation of high-end editorial publications. **Main Responsibilities** * Evaluate and select photographic projects based on their artistic, technical, and commercial value. * Edit and structure visual and textual content, ensuring narrative coherence and balance between image and text. * Supervise image reproduction quality (color, resolution, composition) in collaboration with designers and printers. * Proofread and refine accompanying texts (essays, prefaces, captions) with careful attention to accuracy and writing quality. * Research trends in contemporary photography, editorial design, and printing techniques. * Manage timelines and budgets to ensure timely project delivery. **Requirements** * Degree in Photography, Visual Arts, Graphic Design, Communication, or related fields (preferred). * Proven experience in book editing, art catalogs, or similar visual projects. **A portfolio is mandatory**; applications without one will not be considered. * Proficiency in editing software (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom) and knowledge of print-ready file preparation. * Strong visual critique skills regarding composition, color, and photographic storytelling. * Familiarity with high-quality printing processes (paper types, binding, special inks). **Salary** $10,000.00 – $15,000.00 MXN monthly (depending on experience and skills). **Job Details** * Type: Full-time * Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day * Mode: On-site Job type: Full-time Salary: $10,000.00 \- $15,000.00 per month Work Location: On-site position
