Job Summary Responsible for designing, planning, and optimizing delivery or service routes to ensure efficiency, reduce costs, and guarantee timely delivery of products or provision of services to customers. Key Duties and Responsibilities Route Planning: Use mapping software and scheduling tools (e.g., Roadnet, Excel) to generate the most geographically efficient routes. Coordination: Collaborate closely with drivers, dispatchers, and logistics teams to assign tasks and ensure fleet capacity. Monitoring and Adjustment: Track deliveries in real time, resolve route conflicts or unexpected issues (e.g., traffic, road closures), and adjust routes as needed. Optimization: Analyze route data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and profitability. Documentation: Record delivery information, vehicle productivity, and related administrative documentation.
