**OPENING: GPS MONITOR – PLATEROS TRUCKING** Job Description: At Plateros Trucking, a leading company in the transportation and logistics industry, we are seeking a responsible, analytical, and highly responsive GPS Monitor to join our operations team. The main objective of this position is to supervise cargo units in real time, ensuring their safety and compliance with established routes and delivery schedules. **\*Main Responsibilities:\*** * Monitor transport units using real-time GPS systems. * Verify adherence to routes, departure and arrival times. * Detect and report deviations, unauthorized stops, or emergencies. * Maintain constant communication with drivers and traffic department. * Record incidents, movements, and relevant events during trips. * Assist in coordinating roadside rescues or assistance when required. * Generate daily, weekly, and monthly control and tracking reports. * Ensure cargo integrity and compliance with safety standards. * Collaborate with maintenance, traffic, and safety departments on operational matters. **Requirements:** * Education: Completed high school diploma (technical degree or partial bachelor's in logistics, administration, or related field preferred). * Experience: Minimum 1 year in GPS monitoring, satellite tracking, or fleet control. * Technical skills: * Proficiency with GPS platforms (saktesi). * Geolocation, route planning, and geofencing. * Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). * Reporting and analysis of operational indicators. * Availability for rotating shifts (day/night). **Skills and Competencies:** * Effective communication. * Attention to detail. * Analytical and decision-making abilities. * Focus on safety and compliance. * Ability to work under pressure. * Responsibility and commitment. * Teamwork. **We Offer:** * Weekly salary + night shift bonus * Statutory and additional benefits. * Job stability. * Opportunities for career growth within the company. * Ongoing training.
