Job Summary: This Accounting Assistant role involves recording journal entries, performing bank reconciliations, supporting accounting closings, reviewing tax compliance requirements, maintaining up-to-date accounting records, and generating reports. Key Responsibilities: 1. Accounting journal entry recording and bank reconciliations 2. Support for accounting closings and internal audits 3. Preparation of tax reports (INEGI, DIOT, VAT refunds) **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Record accounting journal entries in the ERP system according to established guidelines. * Perform monthly bank reconciliations under supervision. * Support the monthly and annual accounting closing processes. * Verify that supplier payments correspond to authorized documents (P.O.). * Manage monthly service payments. * Review tax compliance requirements for electronic invoices (CFDI) in accordance with current regulations. * Maintain updated accounting files and supporting documentation. * Respond to information requests from the accounting department and internal audits. * Promptly report errors or discrepancies identified in accounting records. * Prepare INEGI reports. * Prepare DIOT reports. * Support VAT refund preparation. * Assist with inventory counts when required. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting (completed or in progress). * Minimum 2 years of relevant experience. * Required knowledge: basic general accounting, accounting recordkeeping, bank reconciliations, CFDI review, ERP systems, CONTPAQ, NOMIPAQ, and preferably advanced Excel. **Additional Requirements:** * Conversational English, Level B1 * Microsoft 365. * Flexible working hours.
