We are seeking an **Accountant** who masters accounting and tax operations, but who also possesses vision, initiative, and the drive to build processes, improve practices, and assume greater responsibilities as the plant expands. If you seek a role where your work delivers impact and visibility from day one, Filtemex is the right place for you. **Requirements** * **Bachelor’s degree in Accounting** (mandatory). * **3 or more years of experience** in: * Payroll. * General accounting and accounting records. * Solid knowledge of: * **Income Tax (ISR), Value-Added Tax (IVA), and federal and state tax filings.** * Intermediate proficiency in **IMSS, INFONAVIT, and IDSE**. * Experience in reconciliations, accounting closings, and executive reporting. * **Advanced English.** * Genuine interest in professional development and assuming greater responsibility as operations expand. **Key responsibilities** * Prepare **payroll** accurately and in accordance with internal policies. * Manage employee onboarding/offboarding and salary adjustments in **IDSE**. * Perform **bank reconciliations**, journal entries, and accounting recordkeeping. * Execute **monthly accounting closings** and financial reporting. * File **tax returns** (federal and state). * Prepare **budgets, forecasts, and reports for management**. * Administer payroll and accounting systems. * **Participate in building the accounting department**, proposing improvements and processes. * Be willing to become a key member of the administrative team as the plant grows. **Employment offer** * **Gross monthly salary:** MXN $18,000 to $23,000. * Statutory benefits. * **Free on-site parking.** * A genuine opportunity for professional growth as operations and team size expand. * Direct visibility with senior management and active participation in the structural development of the department. **Work schedule** **Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM** **Location** **Calamanda Industrial Park**, El Marqués, Querétaro.
