Responsibilities / Responsibilities: **Purpose** Control and coordinate the Quality Assurance department including laboratories, to meet goals and ensure operations in accordance with business strategy, corporate policies and procedures, legal requirements, regulations and stakeholder expectations, to guarantee safety and Bridgestone quality of our finished products, incoming raw materials and in-process materials, as well as remain vigilant regarding legal compliance, responsibilities and corporate requirements, along with external and internal customer requirements. **Responsibilities** * Manage the proper implementation of the Cuernavaca Plant quality system according to international practices, best practices and corporate requirements. * Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations and technical specifications. * Prepare, control and manage the budget under the responsibility of Quality Assurance. * Manage the correct implementation of the Quality System, ensuring that the product meets customer requirements and standards defined by Bridgestone. * Ensure compliance with various tests that guarantee proper functioning of the finished product according to current technical standards and Bridgestone standards. * Ensure proper operation of physical and chemical testing laboratories according to current technical standards and Bridgestone standards. Implement additional controls as necessary for stability of production processes based on the capabilities of the Cuernavaca Plant. * Coordinate audits of finished products in final inspection and finished goods warehouse areas. Using the information obtained, implement actions in the process resulting in product/process improvement. * Actively manage key quality indicators for the Plant: VOR, SCRAP, Waste, Uniformity, Customer Complaints and field adjustments. Provide support to Manufacturing and Technical Services with data and analysis to help identify root causes of problems. * Guarantee the proper functioning of all PQARL items through audit routines and floor verifications. * Manage routine visits to customers, customer suppliers and our own suppliers, in order to foster closer relationships, anticipate failures and ensure Bridgestone standards, generating reports and action plans. * Efficiently manage the Quality Assurance process (Final Inspection), ensuring that the entire process complies with defined time standards and that all product validation processes meet customer requirements and Bridgestone policies. Such as: Finished product weighing scales, uniformity parameters, pressure bulb poka\-yoke, X-rays, duration and quality of inspection tables, etc. \#LI\-Onsite Requirements / Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field (Graduated) * Advanced English proficiency **Technical Knowledge:** * Statistical tools (Six Sigma); * Quality standards (ISO 9001/IATF 16949/ ISO IEC 17025\); Core Tools (FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, PPAP) * Tire manufacturing process (highly desirable) * Product knowledge in terms of tire production, identification of non-conformities (preferred). * Knowledge of specific customer requirements (desirable) and technical knowledge of the manufacturing process. * Knowledge of root cause analysis tools.
