




Position Summary: Analyze, prepare, and ensure compliance with the Group’s tax obligations, with emphasis on VAT refund management and optimization of tax processes. Key Highlights: 1. Accounting-tax review and reconciliation **Position Objective** Analyze, prepare, and ensure compliance with the Group’s tax obligations, with emphasis on VAT refund management, filing of tax returns, and proper accounting-tax integration, ensuring adherence to current regulations and optimization of tax processes. **Position Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting (graduated or in progress). * Minimum 1–4 years of experience in tax area. * Knowledge of: * VAT (crediting, refunds). * Monthly and annual tax returns. * General accounting and accounting-tax reconciliations. * Use of SAT platforms (Tax Inbox, tax returns, refunds). * Excel proficiency. * ERP accounting experience (SAP, CONTPAQi, etc.) is desirable. **Main Responsibilities** * Prepare and file monthly and annual tax returns (Income Tax, VAT, withholdings, DIOT, among others). * Support VAT refund management, including: * Preparation of working papers. * Analysis of favorable balances. * Response to SAT requests. * Follow-up until resolution. * Review and reconcile accounting vs. tax information (revenues, deductions, deductible and transferred VAT). * Validate correct accounting recording of transactions per Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF) and tax provisions. * Support handling of electronic reviews, invitation letters, and tax audits. * Maintain up-to-date tax information in systems and internal controls. * Support preparation of tax working papers and monthly closings. * Monitor changes in tax legislation and their impact on the company.
