Job Summary: We are seeking an industrial safety and hygiene professional to lead risk prevention and regulatory compliance strategies at our plant. Key Highlights: 1. Coordinate training and manage documentary compliance Safety and Hygiene Manager We are a leading manufacturer of metal furniture with over 20 years of market experience. We seek a professional with industrial safety and hygiene expertise to lead risk prevention and regulatory compliance strategies at our plant. Responsibilities * · Design and implement safety and hygiene programs in accordance with current legislation (NOMs, STPS). * · Comply with STPS, Civil Protection, and PROFEPA requirements. * · Supervise internal inspections and external audits on safety and hygiene, civil protection, and PROFEPA. * · Coordinate safety, hygiene, and occupational health training for operational and administrative staff. * · Conduct incident and occupational accident investigations, and develop strategies to reduce accident frequency and occupational hazards. * · Ensure and supervise the control and handling of hazardous waste in compliance with environmental regulations. * · Supervise the safety conditions of machinery, facilities, processes, material storage, and all applicable STPS regulations. * · Knowledge of and ability to handle hazardous waste and chemicals. * · Manage compliance documentation and/or studies required under current regulations. * · Knowledge of and ability to prepare Civil Protection requirements. * · Coordinate emergency brigades, drills, and emergency plans. * · Report and track departmental indicators. Requirements * · Bachelor’s degree or Engineering degree in Industrial Safety and Hygiene or related field. * · Knowledge of STPS, PROFEPA, and environmental legislation. * · Knowledge of Civil Protection requirements. * · Experience implementing safety and hygiene processes, regulations, and policies. * Availability to work rotating shifts. \* ***DC5 certification preferred\**** Competencies * · Focus on company safety and hygiene * · Effective communication * · Teamwork * · Analytical thinking * · Persuasion skills * · Strong supervisory follow-up * Employment type: Full-time * Work location: On-site employment Employment type: Full-time Benefits: * Option for indefinite-term contract * Free uniforms Work location: On-site employment Salary: $14,000\.00 \- $14,500\.00 per month Work location: On-site employment
