**Cosmeceutics** **Job Objective:** To understand, formulate, evaluate, and apply cosmeceutical products by integrating principles of chemistry, pharmacology, dermatology, and biotechnology, with the aim of developing safe and effective products that promote skin and cutaneous appendage health and aesthetics. **Activities:** * Differentiate among cosmetic, cosmeceutical, and dermatological pharmaceutical products in terms of composition, biological action, and regulatory classification. * Identify major cosmeceutical active ingredients and their mechanisms of action on the skin. * Analyze the structure and function of the skin and its appendages as therapeutic targets for cosmeceutical product development. * Evaluate the safety, efficacy, and quality of cosmeceutical products using clinical, physicochemical, and microbiological methods. * Provide individualized follow-up for each student. **Requirements:** * A Bachelor’s degree and professional license in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field is mandatory. * A Master’s degree with official title and license is desirable. * Minimum three years of teaching experience. * Familiarity with platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Blackboard, or similar is desirable. **Competencies:** * Strong service orientation * Effective communication * Organizational skills * Ethics **Why Work at UVM?** For over 65 years, UVM has been training professionals with a global vision and humanistic values.
