Culture of warm smiles and personalized customer service. ### **Mero Mero – Café & Restaurant** ### **Be part of our grand opening.** ### **We are opening our doors soon and looking for people passionate about gastronomy, responsible individuals with an excellent service attitude to join our team.** ### **We seek baristas with exceptional guest experience through preparation of specialty beverages to high quality standards, maintaining a warm attitude and ensuring order, cleanliness, and control in the bar area.** ### **Main Responsibilities:** * Preparation and Production * Responsible for preparing specialty beverages (espresso, cappuccino, latte, frappés, teas, etc.). * Carry out pre-service production for the café (mise en place). * Verify quality, presentation, and taste of each beverage before delivery. * Perform constant cleaning of equipment and work materials (espresso machine, grinder, utensils). * Guest Service * Maintain a culture of warm smiles toward guests at all times. * Provide personalized and courteous service. * Mention current promotions and campaigns. * Address questions and recommend beverages according to customer preferences. ### **Order and Cleanliness** * Maintain a clean and orderly bar area throughout the shift. * Wash glassware in the area. * Perform deep cleaning of equipment at closing. * Comply with hygiene standards and proper food handling practices. ### **Control and Organization** * Maintain inventory controls for supplies (coffee, milk, syrups, toppings, cups, etc.). * Report shortages or losses. * Ensure proper product rotation. ### **Work Schedule** * Monday through Sunday, with one rotating weekday off, according to the shift roster. ### **Requirements** * Minimum 1 year of barista experience (preferred). * Knowledge of specialty beverage preparation. * Service-oriented attitude with focus on guest experience. * Teamwork skills. * Flexible availability.
