We are seeking a detail\-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant II to join our Corporate Accounting team. In this role, you will support day\-to\-day accounting operations, contribute to the month\-end close process, and help maintain accurate financial records for the U.S. corporate entity.
The ideal candidate has a strong accounting foundation, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross\-functional teams.
This position may be fully remote or hybrid/in\-person at our Guadalajara office. Although the company maintains a subsidiary in Guadalajara, this role will specifically support the U.S.
**Key responsabilities:**
* Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with US GAAP
* Support month\-end close activities, including accruals, amortization, depreciation, and reclassifications
* Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving variances
* Support data gathering and analysis for tax, compliance, and regulatory reporting processes
* Pull, organize, and retain supporting documentation for monthly close and annual audit purposes
* Maintain accurate documentation and accounting records
* Support process improvements and special projects as assigned
**Requirements**
* **Education**
* + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
+ CPA or CPA\-eligible is a plus
* **Experience**
* + 5\+ years of relevant accounting experience
+ At least 2 years of experience working with U.S. GAAP standards
+ Experience with general ledger accounting and account reconciliations
+ Experience working with accounting or ERP systems
+ Experience working with U.S.\-based teams or supporting U.S. entities
+ Experience in a fast\-paced or high\-growth environment is a plus

* + Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, and basic formulas)

* + Strong English communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross\-functional and international stakeholders
