The System Validation Engineer–Intern (Power and Performance) supports customer product enablement and the broader ecosystem adoption of Intel products and solutions. This role may involve assisting with customer system integration, validation, and issue resolution, as well as contributing to the creation of technical collateral, customer training materials, and lifecycle management activities. The intern may also collaborate with internal engineering teams and external partners to help ensure platform readiness, smooth product ramps, and overall ecosystem enablement for platform solution readiness. As an intern, you will learn and apply technical knowledge, build hands ‑ on skills, and explore future career opportunities through meaningful, real ‑ world projects that support Intel’s business goals in a collaborative and innovative environment. **Behavioral traits** * Work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative to complete assigned tasks, while quickly reporting results and challenges to customers. * Work on multiple assigned tasks and projects and appropriately manage priorities. * Written and verbal communication skills **What You Will Learn** * System\-level validation fundamentals for power, performance, and platform readiness. * Debugging and issue ‑ resolution techniques, including how to investigate, reproduce, and document system ‑ level issues. * Customer system integration processes, gaining exposure to how Intel platforms interface with real customer products. * Power and performance measurement methodologies, tools, and best practices. * How to create technical collateral, including documentation, guides, training materials, and validation reports. * Cross ‑ functional collaboration, working alongside engineering, architecture, and customer ‑ facing teams. * Ecosystem enablement workflows, understanding how partners prepare for and adopt new Intel technologies. * Lifecycle management activities, from early engineering samples to product ramp and deployment. * Professional communication skills in technical discussions, customer interactions, and status reporting. * Project ownership and problem ‑ solving, through hands ‑ on tasks aligned with real business needs. **Qualifications:** ------------------- Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. **Minimum Qualifications:** * Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronical Engineering, System Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent field. * 6 months of experience in: + PC component architecture (CPU, motherboard, memory, storage, video, USB, networking, wireless) and how variations to each component affect overall PC functionality and performance + Python and scripting skills to run tests and debug components from command line interfaces. + Windows and Linux OS, especially identification of unexpected behavior caused by physical hardware issues. + Electrical circuits and digital logic systems * Advance English level. * Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico (this role is not eligible for visa or immigration sponsorship). **Preferred Qualifications:** * 2 years of experience working in an environment that validates physical semiconductors and/or computer hardware components, knowing how to handle and diagnose failures. * Basic understanding of using oscilloscopes to analyze low and high\-speed electronic signals Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
