The Job: As a Supply Chain Manager, you’ll be part of our Plant team working as an on\-site employee. You’ll get to:* Manage and control material inventories to achieve inventory effectiveness targets. * Ensure inventory accuracy in SAP through ongoing controls and reconciliation. * Support production schedule attainment and service performance by ensuring material availability and execution discipline. * Lead and execute continuous improvement projects, including Kaizen and 5S activities within the department. * Maintain department metrics established by the Plant Director and provide weekly staff charts with key indicators. * Communicate effectively with the Supply Chain team to ensure alignment and execution. * Oversee supplier purchase orders for raw materials. * Oversee purchase orders for service parts and intercompany requirements. * Monitor and control excess and obsolete materials. * Manage company resources (people, equipment, tools) effectively to meet business needs. * Improve material flow and material management processes across the operation. * Participate in the preparation and execution of the annual physical inventory. * Define and lead the department’s optimal supply chain strategy and contribute to supply chain planning decisions. * Lead talent management activities, including training and development within the department. * Direct transportation and logistics activities in support of business requirements. * Follow environmental and safety requirements, including waste segregation and compliance with operational controls. * Participate in ISO 14001 \& ISO 45001 awareness training and follow established procedures. You also have:* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. * 5\+ years of experience and knowledge of manufacturing processes. * Experience leading Materials and Supply Chain personnel. * Proficiency with materials control systems and supply chain tools (Microsoft Office, MRP, and manufacturing reporting tools such as Business Objects preferred). * Advanced English skills and strong competencies in communication, leadership, teamwork, emotional intelligence, and team development.
