





**HOTEL DEL GOBERNADOR** Seeking: Line Cook A – Second-in-Command **Objective:** Contribute your skills to ensure the successful restaurant service and food production. **Requirements:** \- Prior experience in a similar position \- Flexible availability for work schedule \- Excellent personal appearance \- Passion for cooking and interest in Yucatecan cuisine \- Experience managing staff **Responsibilities:** **\-** Work with the kitchen team on cold or hot lines (pans, griddles, fryers, or grills) \- Production and pre-production of various dishes \- Weigh and prepare recipes according to the Executive Chef’s instructions \- Inventory management, FIFO (First-In, First-Out), and monitoring of hygiene and cleaning procedures \- General kitchen cleaning **Qualifications:** * Technical High School Diploma in Food Services * Proficiency in standardized recipes * Knowledge of hygienic food handling compliant with the “H” distinction or equivalent certifications * Experience in large-scale production, including portioning poultry, red meats, fish and seafood, classic sauces and dressings, and other high-volume preparations.
