**Job Profile: Water Treatment Technician** **Position Objective** Ensure the proper operation and control of water treatment systems through analysis, chemical dosing, and appropriate handling of chemicals in cooling towers, boilers, reverse osmosis systems, and wastewater treatment plants (WWTP), guaranteeing service and effluent water quality according to established parameters. **Main Responsibilities** * Perform **physicochemical analyses** and monitor parameters in service water, effluent water, cooling towers, boilers, and reverse osmosis systems. * **Prepare, dose, and transport chemical products** to different areas, including filling and replacing chemical containers. * Maintain **operation logs, reports, and equipment checklists** for systems and parameters. * Carry out **minor maintenance tasks**, such as replacing hoses and performing basic controller inspections. * Monitor the proper operation of cooling towers, boilers, and treatment systems. * Record and report deviations in operational parameters or system conditions. * Use basic tools and measuring equipment for water quality control. * Comply with safety and hygiene guidelines when handling chemical products. **Candidate Profile** * **Education:** Technical or high school degree in **Chemistry, Mechanical, Electromechanical** or related field. * (Desirable: Chemical, Environmental, or Industrial Engineering). * **Experience:** * Knowledge of **water treatment** and operation of **reverse osmosis, cooling towers, boilers, or WWTP systems**. * Experience in **handling chemical products** and **physicochemical analysis**. * **Additional Skills:** * Knowledge of service and effluent water systems. * Proficiency in **Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)**. * Basic knowledge of maintenance and controllers. **Competencies:** * Responsibility and discipline. * Attention to detail. * Teamwork. * Initiative and commitment. * **Working Conditions** * **Monthly salary:** $12,500 to $15,000 MXN (depending on experience). * **Job type:** Full-time. * **Department:** Water treatment / Maintenance. * **Availability:** Willingness to work shifts or stand-by duties as required.
