Summary: The Process Technician III supports manufacturing lines to achieve KPIs by focusing on yield, downtime, and equipment maintenance, leading technicians, and improving processes. Highlights: 1. Lead technicians to resolve production issues on the manufacturing floor. 2. Maintain manufacturing lines and equipment to minimize downtime. 3. Improve existing processes to achieve goals through Kaizens. High Level Statement of the Role The “Process Technician III” is responsible to support the manufacturing line to achieve the KPI’s defined by KEMX and focus on the Yield, Down Time and maintenance of the equipment and tools used during production. . High Level Roles \& Responsibilities  Authority to report risks regarding OH\&S concerns  Authority to report risks regarding Quality and to prevent shipment of nonconformity products to Customers. Authority to stop the production or prevent shipment of nonconforming products to the customers.  Improve new or existing process to achieve goals thru Kaizens focus into the KPI's indicators  Responsible to be in his work area on time before the beginning of the shift.  Lead the technicians to resolve production issues that may occur on the manufacturing floor.  Maintain effectively the support on the manufacturing lines and equipment to minimize Down time  Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic and mechanical issues on the existing equipment’s at KEMX.  Responsible to administrate and optimize the spare parts.  Execute work instructions, maintenance and calibration task, assigned to him base on each position.  Responsible to execute and maintain model changes at optimum level based on the goal for each area.  Support NPI activities and projects as required.  Supports the Vision and Guiding Principles and other policies of Kimball Electronics Mexico  Comply with all Safety, Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and Quality Management System (QMS) requirements. Process Technician  SMT knowledge in (preferred) o Stencil and printing o SPI o Placement o AOI o Reflow
