Summary: This role involves ensuring operational efficiency through continuous improvement, coordinating projects, and meeting customer requirements within a process-based approach. Highlights: 1. Lead continuous improvement projects and apply lean tools. 2. Develop and train the Process Engineering team. 3. Contribute to engineering breakthroughs in a global leader. **Position Summary** Ensure the operation adopts a process\-based approach through the application of continuous improvement, implementing and coordinating projects that guarantee an efficient operation, meet the company’s performance indicators, and satisfy the requirements of our internal and external customers. **Responsibilities** * Actively participate in achieving the business strategy established by the division. * Coordinate the implementation of continuous improvement projects, ensuring the use of lean tools while working in cross functional teams. * Actively participate in plant problem solving efforts. * Ensure the implementation of customer specifications in production areas so that products and processes meet client requirements. * Develop and train the Process Engineering team. * Plan the execution of the plant’s standard work systems. * Ensure proper document control within the department to comply with customer standards. * Coordinate the execution of manufacturing samples for new products. * Research and develop new suppliers of equipment and tooling. * Provide support to customer audit bodies to ensure compliance with quality standards. * Provide prompt and accurate responses to the division’s business units when required. * Ensure equipment meets ergonomics, safety, efficiency, and optimal condition requirements to guarantee product quality. * Optimize departmental resources. * Provide excellent service to internal and external customers. * Develop standard work systems. * Balance manufacturing lines based on time and motion studies. * Execute continuous improvement activities within cross functional teams. * Ensure the use of continuous improvement tools for project implementation. * Develop and implement new products and processes. * Document manufacturing processes in accordance with our document control system. * Ensure training of operational personnel on new manufacturing processes. * Coordinate the transfer of Parker products from the business units. * Ensure compliance with our customers’ specifications. **Qualifications** **Qualifications** * Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering * Experience: \+5 years of experience, including managerial positions * English level: Advanced English. **Technical Skills** * Lean Manufacturing * Line Balancing * Green Belt or Black Belt certification (desirable) * Core quality tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP) * Knowledge of Minitab * High‑Performance Teams * Experience with design tools (AutoCAD, Inventor, etc.) * Intermediate Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project) * Project coordination and implementatiom **Soft skills** * Organized * Strong interpersonal skills. * Analytical * Ability to handle conflicts. * Strong communication skills * Responsible * Integrate * Team oriented. * Self\-motivated * Motivated by your goals **Parker Hannifin** Parker Hannifin is a Fortune 250 global leader in motion and control technologies.
