Job Summary: BMS Engineer responsible for developing, configuring, and maintaining building management systems, ensuring efficient operation of HVAC, lighting, energy, and other subsystems. Technical support and maintenance of installed systems BMS ENGINEER WITH SIGNIFICANT KNOWLEDGE AND 3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN BMS Job Objective Develop, configure, test, and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS), ensuring efficient and automated operation of HVAC, lighting, energy, alarm, and other building subsystems in accordance with client specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities - Program and configure BMS - Integrate devices and systems using protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, OPC, among others. - Perform functional testing, commissioning, and on-site adjustments. - Develop control diagrams, technical documentation, and operation manuals. - Provide technical support and maintenance for installed systems. - Collaborate with design engineers, field technicians, and other multidisciplinary teams. - Manage software changes, improvements, and updates in building automation systems. Education Requirements: Degree in Control Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation, Systems Engineering, or related field. Experience: 3 to 5 years in BMS programming or industrial automation. Experience in system integration and communication protocols. Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in at least one recognized BMS platform; Schneider preferred (Siemens, Honeywell, Delta Controls, Tridium, etc. will also be considered). Communication protocols (BACnet/IP, Modbus RTU/TCP, SNMP, OPC). PLC and SCADA programming. Reading of electrical schematics and control diagrams. Knowledge of HVAC and building electromechanical systems. Desirable Skills: Certifications in BMS platforms. Technical English.
