Responsibilities: The Installation Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic security equipment provided by Trican. This position ensures systems are installed efficiently while meeting the company’s quality and safety standards. Equipment Installation: Install electronic security systems, including surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and access control devices. Ensure equipment is properly configured and fully operational. Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Conduct periodic inspections to verify proper operation of installed systems. Identify and resolve technical faults in equipment. Customer Training: Provide basic customer training on system usage and maintenance. Address customer questions and resolve queries regarding equipment operation. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure installations comply with the company’s safety and quality regulations. Document each installation or maintenance activity and report to the Operations Manager. Tool and Material Management: Maintain assigned tools in good working condition. Efficiently manage materials required for each project. Authority: Make decisions regarding necessary technical adjustments during installations. Report and propose improvements to installation and maintenance procedures.
