




Job Summary: We are seeking an industrial painter with experience in mechanical cleaning, blasting, degreasing, and application of protective coatings on structural components. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in application of industrial and anticorrosive paint. 2. Operation of blasting equipment and spray guns. 3. Knowledge of safety and maintenance of painting equipment. * SCHEDULE: * Monday to Friday 7:00\-16:30 hrs * Saturdays 7:00\-12:00 hrs * Daily break: 15 minutes * 1 hour for meals or rest * Grocery vouchers * Statutory benefits **Mechanical and manual cleaning:** Remove rust, mill scale, grease, oil, dust, and dirt using manual or electric tools (wire brushes, sanders, grinders). * **Blasting/Sandblasting:** Operate sand or abrasive blasting equipment to achieve the appropriate anchor profile (white metal or commercial blast cleaning). * **Degreasing:** Apply solvents to remove oily contaminants prior to painting. 2\. Paint Application (Industrial and Anticorrosive) * **Material preparation:** Mix, dilute, and prepare paints, primers, and catalysts according to technical specifications. * **Application using equipment:** Use spray guns (airless or conventional), brushes, or rollers to apply coatings. * **Paint system application:** Apply primer coats (anticorrosive/primers) and topcoats (enamels, polyurethanes, intumescents). * **Film thickness control:** Ensure paint is applied at the required dry film thickness (DFT) to comply with standards. * Paint structural components (beams, columns, trusses) prior to assembly, allowing paint to dry in a controlled environment. * **Identification:** Mark structural components with paint to facilitate assembly per engineering drawings. 4\. Safety and Equipment Maintenance * **Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):** Use organic vapor filter masks, coveralls, gloves, and eye protection due to chemical exposure. * **Equipment maintenance:** Clean and maintain spray guns, hoses, and paint compressors. * **Environmental condition monitoring:** Verify ambient temperature and humidity to ensure proper paint drying and curing. Profile and Tools * **Knowledge:** Interpretation of paint technical data sheets, types of solvents, and safety standards. * **Tools:** Airless spray guns, compressors, thickness gauges (micrometers), sanders, and manual cleaning tools.
